What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I can replace the role of a teacher and interact with students on a more personal level, which would help create a friendly and intuitive environment for the students. I love the feeling when students improved considerably, and their parents send thank you messages to me. It's even better when you know that you transform a student who hates math into one who can solve a problem on their own and actually like doing math problems. I also love connecting and talking to people of all ages, and also a chance to help the students and make friends with them is really great.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have achieved many math awards as a high school student in Vietnam and have 800 in SAT Math, so I'm confident that I'll be able to solve and explain all K-12 math problems to the students. I've also taught students of all ages, from grade 4 to 11, so I know how to explain math topics in a simple way for students to understand. I can also use Latex and other research tools on an advanced level, which will help me prepare lessons easily. Although I come from Vietnam education and English isn't my native language, I have 7.5 IELTS and I'm eager to help students with difficulties in mathematics.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing that a tutor can do for a student is actually help them to understand the problem and solve one on their own without any help. And also to assist and chat with the students whenever they need. I want to consider the student as a friend that can chat with me and ask for my help whenever needed.
