What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing students change from really not enjoying maths to getting exciting about it. This comes from their change in confidence in the subject, to the point where they are able to consistently meet their goals.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a university student currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Mathematics/Data Science, I am continuing to expand my knowledge and interest in mathematics. Having recently completed High School myself, I am up to date with the syllabus and how it is commonly taught. I have an interest in teaching and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I hope as a tutor I can improve a student's overall attitude for learning and even get them excited about maths. This can be done through things such as setting goals, identifying strengths and weaknesses, as well as personalised, individual attention. Additionally, I believe if I can get a student to be confident in their abilities it can really boost their self-esteem which will help them in many aspects of their High School life.
