What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love seeing the progress my student makes and seeing the impact I've made on them. The part I enjoy most is witnessing the improvements my students make as well as the rewarding feeling that comes from knowing I played a role in helping them achieve their goals and successes. Being able to offer guidance or support to students and help them overcome the problem they are facing, along with interacting with the students, are some of the things I enjoy most about tutoring.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
A few of my key strengths are my patience, empathy, and understanding and encouraging nature. Every student works at their own pace and being patient and understanding helps me easily tackle this. There will be times when the student is busier and this may mean allocating more time to achieve the goals we've set. As a tutor, I believe that empathy is one of the most important skills as this helps me understand my student and build rapport with them. Instilling self-confidence in my student will help them feel more sure of themselves and encourage them to keep trying.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
While helping the student understand the syllabus is a major aspect of it, I think one of the most important things I can do as a tutor for my student is helping them develop and hone their study skills and learning style so that they can apply these skills to other topics and subjects and tackle them. In doing so, their time is used wisely so that the things they learn can be applied beyond the subject I'm tutoring the student in.
