What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy the gratification that comes with playing an important role in a student's growth. When a student that I'm tutoring or assisting has a jump in their marks, I find myself celebrating just as hard as they do. I also really enjoy the benefits tutoring brings to my own studies, as it deepens my understanding of specific topics but also the art of learning.My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My strength as a tutor is that I can create real and authentic connections with students I feel that learning a syllabus and and following a lesson plan are technical skills that everyone can learn, however to foster deeper connections is difficult and often innate. I genuinely invest in a student's success and celebrate alongside them when they improve.Most important things I can do for a student π
As tutors, we should be able to adapt their teaching techniques to cater to a student's learning style, personality and weaknesses. We need to have a strong understanding of the course content so that we can guide student's through the work confidently. Diligence, patience and attention to detail are important when preparing for lessons and leading student's through practice questions.
