What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The most enjoyable aspect of tutoring for me personally is the satisfaction of being able to guide people in the right direction, and to help them understand things that they have been struggling with. Seeing the moment something finally makes sense is truly special, and is definitely my favourite thing about tutoring people.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My biggest strengths as a tutor are my patience and ability to explain things in different ways. As someone who learns in a very specific way, it has always been apparent to me that baseline definitions for things don't always click, and oftentimes having examples of how things might apply in real life, or having new concepts likened to others previously studied understood really helps to consolidate knowledge. As a tutor, one of my biggest priorities is understanding how my student learns best, and finding new ways to explain concepts so that they can understand things as well as possible.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is improve the way in which they think about things. Whilst tutoring is catered to individual subjects, I believe a tutor can offer more than just skills in Maths or English - they can offer advice in general that can be applied to other academics and life as a whole. When a student leaves with a skill set that they can take with them wherever they go in life, I'd consider that to be the greatest value one can get out of being tutored.
