What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Seeing an improvement in a student's academic performance is the most rewarding thing about tutoring. It makes me feel like I have contributed to society. Also tutoring is a is fun because it allows one to work on effective communication

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am really great at simplifying difficult tasks. It is my belief that learning is more exciting and concept are much easier to grasp when they are simplified. At times even making situations that are relatable around our daily life helps. This is a method that I found very effective for mathematics and science related problems. In addition, I am very patient with people and generally get along with most people that I meet. I believe my easy going character and socialising skills could become handy in creating an honest and open relationship and identify strengths and weaknesses in a student.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Being able to adapt to a student's needs. Not everyone can grasp concepts when they are explained the first time so it's important to be flexible and apply different learning styles. Another thing a tutor can do is to engage with the parents and provide feedback on the student's performance. This also allows one to gather feedback from the parents and tailor make the lessons to suit the students. Lastly, exams can be stressful which at times can cause students to panic. I believe providing tips on dealing with them can be helpful.
