What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The most enjoyable part about tutoring is seeing students light up when they begin to find interest in a topic they previously had issues with. I know personally I used to dislike math a lot as I had trouble understanding the concepts, through tutoring and helpful teachers I was able to gain a deeper understanding and since then my love for mathematics grew greatly. I enjoy being able to be the catalyst with other students to allow them to reach this themselves.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my flexibility and calm personality are great strengths in tutoring. A lot of students will become stressed when they do not understand certain topics. Having a calm tutor who is willing to listen to your problems and work with you slowly to fix them helps put the student at ease and teaches them that mistakes are good to make as they are the catalyst for growth. As well knowing that everyone learns in different ways, being flexible means I can work with the student to find their best way to learn rather than forcing them to stick to certain methods.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to be open to other methods and understanding that everyone is unique in the areas they struggle with and everyone's solutions to this are unique as well. Being patient with students allows them to work at a pace they feel comfortable with, this will allow them to find enjoyment in the subjects and overall feel less stressed when they have issues understanding a concept.
