I think that I have a lot of experience and practice in math and have now taken it at a pretty high level. Additionally, I have tutored other students before in Secondary School in a volunteer position, as well as being a teaching assistant at my current university. Lastly, I would say that I am someone who does understand the struggle of the students that I would be dealing with, I have been tutored before in the past as well and am aware of curse of knowledge which is easy for many tutors to fall into and therefore know that the students need an explanation that they can understand.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to help them to understand the topic and not just to help them complete the assignment. It is easy to sit with the student and help them through each step and each problem to complete some assignment, but if they did not understand it then the session was essentially useless for them. It is important to refrain from giving the answer and to guide the student to think and reach an understanding on their own with the help of the tutor.Subjects Tutored 🎓
