What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being creative in explaining concepts so that they are better understood. It's a lot of fun to find a explanation solution that works for everyone as there are many ways to explain certain topics. It's such a satisfying feeling when you can finally understand something! I also really enjoy learning from the students as well. There's something you can learn from everyone.

I am an empathetic individual who can really put myself in the position of a student. At times it takes me a while to understand a topic, so I am really patient with students. I'm personable and friendly which I believe makes learning easier and more relatable.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think it's important for a tutor to ask their students to think critically and to show encouragement with minor steps. I think patience and repetition are really important for tutors to display to their students. I also think it's important for a tutor to be honest about what they know or don't know. It is okay not to know the answer, and I think that behaviour is important for students to see.
