The moment when a student "gets" a math concept is a small but significant victory in a larger battle for understanding. It's a reminder that with persistence, patience, and guidance, even the most challenging subjects can be conquered. Helping students reach that moment is what makes tutoring math such a fulfilling experience.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

One of my strengths is patience. I understand students learned at their own pace, and I'm always willing to take the time to explain a concept in different ways until they understand. Seeing their confidence grow as they begin to understand the material is also rewarding. Additionally as a tutor, I believe that organisation is key to success. That's why I always make sure to come to each session with a clear plan for what we'll cover, and I'd take notes to track our progress to ensure staying on track. This helps me provide a more structured and efficient learning experience for my students.

Encourage critical thinking is what I considered important. I believe that math tutoring should encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills. By presenting students with challenging problems and guiding them through the process of finding solutions, I can help them develop the kind of analytical mindset that will serve them well in all areas of their academic and professional lives.
