What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I take pleasure in the fact that through my teaching a student is having a easier time with their academics which is known for causing a lot of stress in their lives. I love watching my students slowly get more and more eager to learn a new subject or topic and I love that sometimes I can see it cause a positive change in their life.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As someone who has been teaching kids of varying grades for the past almost 3 years, I have realised that not all teaching and learning techniques work for everyone because every student is different and their brains work differently thus it is important to tailor each lesson to the individual student. Additionally, many pupils struggle with foundational academic habits which is also very vital to address as it affects their future academic endeavours as well.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing I can do is to reduce the burden of cramming for good grades and this can be done by guiding the student to address their key academic habits to explaining the contents taught in school at a personalised pace and customised lesson plans to ensure they are not lacking behind, rather learning at their own speed. The end result is not only better grades but a better experience with learning and gaining important and foundational knowledge in their school subjects.
