What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The best part of tutoring is seeing kids change their frowns into smiles. When kids begin to see just how easy it can be. It's a great feeling to share this with a child.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a homeschool parent I'm always learning new ways to teach STEM. Now semi-retired, I'm a mathematician with 15 years industry experience in quant finance. I graduated with first class honours in math and finance from Curtin and a PhD candidate at UWA.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A good tutor should give to every student: 1- an understanding of the principles in the material; 2- the tools to tackle the material with confidence - typically inductive or deductive reasoning; and 3- an appreciation for the subject.
