What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
In high school, learning was dull and boring. It was always packaged as something people did for the sake of it without any interest in it. Part of my journey through life was discovering what I was good at and what I gained from the learning process. I enjoy helping students discover this for themselves, maybe through presenting the content from the lens of the why instead of just the what. Or maybe just being a relatable role model and pushing them to do their best.My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I have a lot of empathy for what students undergo as a current university student and a recent HSC straggler. My strength is the ability to relate to what a student sees based on their current lens of a topic and apply my own lens as a research student where topics are contextualised and fascinating.Most important things I can do for a student π
I can help students achieve their goals in a positive and encouraging environment. I will be able to provide a space for students to learn in a constructive manner, introduce why things exist the way they are and provide a contextualised learning experience. I think she needs more pen-to-paper practice of working with things algebraically. How to change and modify equations to make them usable for their intended purpose.
