What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love learning, expanding my knowledge, and having a solid foundational understanding of basic concepts. Tutoring enables me to retain knowledge acquired during school, and subsequently share it with students who may need a little extra help.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I enjoy creative problem solving, and thoroughly enjoy teaching as well. This allows me to understand a student’s learning style and tailor educational materials and tutoring sessions to each students’ individual needs. While I am a predominantly visual learner who memorizes concepts by understanding underlying principles, I have also employed several ancillary evidence-based learning strategies which are better suited towards those with alternative learning styles. I'm also technologically-inclined, which makes it easier for me to make online learning sessions effective and efficient.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I personally feel tutors are exceptionally helpful when students need help navigating stressful and somewhat convoluted decisions on what they want to study at university (and beyond). I'm a well-rounded medical student who has explored several alternative careers during high school. I've applied (and been accepted to) several universities around the world, and consequently have the benefit of hindsight whilst helping people understand things to focus on (and avoid) during the entire process.
