What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Personally, the aspect I love most about tutoring is the boost of confidence it brings to students. When I see that my student is actually understanding the new content and feeling motivated to learn more, it makes me feel proud of myself for being able to contribute to their self-confidence. I also like how its very flexible and I can easily balance it with my other day-to-day activities.

I like to believe I am a very patient person which is very important because it really helps tutors to teach concepts effectively and formulate solutions to helping a student understand better. One of my other academic strengths is definitely maths. Since primary, it has always been a subject I have loved learning and also teaching others

I feel that communication and once again, patience, are both very crucial skills a tutor should possess. I know from my very own personal experiences being tutored that when my tutors were impatient, it often made me doubt my own abilities and reduced my motivation to learn and perform better. Communication is also definitely important because it helps tutors to teach content efficiently and also build better professional relationships with their students.
