What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy working with disadvantaged students, especially those with disabilities and fell behind for reasons that are not in their control. I feel deeply for these students as they often lack confidence and need a non judgemental and patient person to help meet them where they are and guide them. I enjoy seeing them grow and improve.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
As an Edrolo junior Mathematics Textbook author, I have solid mathematical knowledge and I am able to explain concepts in a simple yet accurate way. My strength as a tutor is that I build rapport really easily with students and I constantly seek feedback on what is and is not helpful for them. In addition, as a maths textbook author, I have solid maths knowledge background and am able to explain concepts and ideas in simple and succinct language that adheres to the curriculum.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to support them whatever the stage they are in their life. A tutor gives their full attention to individual student and itβs important that the student feels supported and so they can engage in learning and enjoy learning more.
