I love sharing my passion for learning and maths with kids who are struggling or need that extra help in maths. For me building up their confidence and helping them achieve things that they were struggling with before and seeing that smile and confidence when they finally can do it is everything.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths are adjusting to a kid's needs and teaching at their pace. I am a caring and emphatic person who can explain to kids in a way that encourages them to give it a go and build their confidence. My passion for maths and as a student myself I understand what it's like being in the shoes of a kid who feels frustrated and upset when they feel like they can't understand, so being able to be patient while trying to develop a correct method and working out is something I am good at.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
For me it's very important to adjust to a student's individual needs because each student is different, some may quickly grasp things while others may need more time to. Often kids feel very overwhelmed and anxious when they can't understand or feel rushed. So being patient with them and building a positive environment is a crucial thing that tutors can do for students. This will encourage students to feel more comfortable and hence build confidence and give everything a go.
