What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy tutoring the most when I can establish a connection with a student and be able to work together to help them develop improved study habits and academic performance.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I take pride in using my imagination to experiment with methods for engaging my students in learning. I research and test various approaches to make sure that students enjoy their studies. I also try to prepare relatable, real-world examples so they can see the relevance of what they’re doing.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I consider time, listening, and encouragement as the important things a tutor can do for every student. I believe that the starting point is to look into where the student is coming from to better assess what the problem is. Then, a tutor should acknowledge that everyone learns at a different pace and with a distinct learning style. Some strategies would work best with some but not for everyone. Finally, a tutor should refrain from making comparisons so that students won’t feel under pressure to study or advance quickly.
