What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The ability to help students achieve their goals and build their confidence is truly a gift. To see the younger generation learn and apply the knowledge is remarkable and a beautiful sight to see. To be the tutor that you wished you had whilst you were a student, someone who's direct yet constructive, who is a storyteller but concise.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As I have once been there, and all it took was a good bunch of friends and helpful tuition teachers, within less than a year I had boosted my grades from C to A*. I felt the difference between school teachers and tuition, whereby more personalized attention was given which really helped my confidence and in return my attention to the topics.
I feel due to my experience, I prefer to begin with an easier grade before moving into harder ones such as VCE although I am no stranger to it.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
To be responsive and constructive, I felt that I learned the best when I felt connected with the teacher and the class. It can be distracting to feel uncomfortable whilst learning. I would say that having a personalized connection helps students feel more confident in the teacher and attentive to the information being said by the teacher.
