What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐Ÿ˜

I truly enjoy when my tutoring results in progress among my students. This progress doesnโ€™t just reflect in the grades of my students- it shows through the improved confidence they show in themselves and their knowledge. I feel grateful and proud when I can contribute to my students' success by helping them throughout their educational journey.

My Strengths as Tutor ๐Ÿ’ช

I am able to unpack really complex concepts so that they are digestible and enjoyable to learn for my students. I do this by first understanding their learning style- for example, for a visual learner, I will take concepts and construct them into simplified diagrams/flowcharts that enable effective learning. I am also good at empathising with the emotions/struggles of my students. Being a recent graduate, I understand the stress that comes with trying to excel academically and believe that this understanding allows me to connect with my students and better assist them.

Most important things I can do for a student ๐Ÿ…

* A tutor should aim to not only help their students to succeed academically but also to learn and practice learning techniques that will help them to succeed in the future as well. By providing academic support, tutors equip students with the confidence and self-belief to continue striving for their goals. * A tutor should aim to create a learning environment that is comfortable, nurturing, and supportive. Not only should we take them through content, but we should also encourage students to ask for support and advice openly. This also helps to encourage students to enjoy their learning!
