What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I like that tutoring allows more freedom for both the tutor and the student. It is more personalised to the students' needs and allows greater flexibility as well for the tutor. Tutoring doesn't have to follow a strict schedule as normal school does and thus it can target the students' needs more productively.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I like to go beyond simply answering the question at hand. There are several different factors involved in ensuring a student is able to achieve the goals they want. For instance, I strive to ensure that students are mentally and physically healthy. I try to provide advice in relation to study habits and I also provide advice on exam technique. I pride myself in my ability to be easygoing and friendly as to ensure my student is not worried about contacting me or asking any questions.

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to address their needs and help them achieve their goal to the best of their ability. For this to happen there needs to be a clear understanding of what the student's goal(s) is and from there begin establishing a solid foundation for communication. It is important to maintain this personalisation as to avoid tuition seeming like a second school. It is also important to be easygoing and friendly because this allows students to be more comfortable and allows them to open up about their concerns.
