What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy supporting young students on their journey through school. As I've already been through this experience, I feel a sense of empathy and compassion towards these students as I know how challenging it can be. That's why I think giving them support in this sense can make a huge difference to their schooling experience.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My knowledge of maths is extensive and thorough, as I completed both VCE specialist maths and VCE maths methods. I'm also very persistent and patient. I understand that learning is a process and students may not get it right away. I'm also a great communicator. I've had previous jobs such as basketball coaching which required me to deal with children and parents, and has developed my communication skills.

One of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is to be flexible and adaptive to the student's needs. Not all students learn in the same way, so it's important to adjust your style of teaching to best fit the student. Also, it is crucial to be patient with students. Some students may take time to fully grasp certain concepts so it's important to have the patience to fully support them through this.
