What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
What I enjoy most about tutoring is having the opportunity to help students achieve their best and allow them to tackle their weaknesses. It brings me joy to know I am able to inspire students on an academic level and to see how my efforts improved their mark on tests or assignments.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My strengths as a tutor is that I'm patient with a student and accepting of any type of questions without showing annoyance. I always stop midway through lessons to make sure the student understands what I've said so far and to check if they have any questions.
I encourage independence and give the students small tasks to do on their own to see if they understand what I've said so far.
I always make sure to encourage and motivate the student to help them realize their strengths.
Preparing the lesson and going over the material before meeting with the student is also one of my tutoring ways.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important things a tutor can do for a student is helping them achieve their academic goals and guiding them though their struggles. Each student requires a certain type of attention and care and my job as a tutor is to try my best to help provide that.
Another important thing a tutor can do for a student is motivating them. Some students lose their motivation and don't feel as though they've got what it takes. So it's a tutors job to encourage them to take baby steps to reach their goals and to remind them of the potential they have.
