What do I enjoy most about tutoring? šŸ˜

Seeing someone develop their skillset and improve their confidence with the subject. Helping a student overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Develop my own understanding of the topics as I'm forced to look at them from a different perspective. Getting into good, passionate discussions about interesting topics.

My Strengths as Tutor šŸ’Ŗ

I have extensive experience with real-world applications of maths and physics with my master's degree in mechanical engineering. Although I have a decent natural aptitude for maths, I still had to study hard and put in the work to achieve good marks at university level. Therefore, I can relate to someone who finds certain areas challenging and daunting. I'm easy-going, patient, and able to be encouraging without coddling, which enables students to be independent. Iā€™m relatable to young students and know lots of helpful, modern resources.

Most important things I can do for a student šŸ…

Develop their confidence with a subject. I believe that students flourish once they are properly encouraged and see their knowledge and skillset improving. This often removes or diminishes any negative emotions associated with the subject, allowing students to enjoy learning more and work towards their potential.
