What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love that tutoring is such a purposeful and fulfilling job. It is about passing knowledge and experience with your students and witnessing their growth with that knowledge. Watching a student become more confident and skilful with a particular concept or subject makes the job of a tutor worthwhile. Every student is a different learner, and therefore each student's journey is different; as a tutor, you not only make a difference in someone else's life but over time, these experiences compound into valuable skills.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am passionate about helping people, and as a student myself, I understand the struggles of learning a new concept or skill. As a student myself, I believe I can stem from my successes and failures to create a unique approach to tutoring. I have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, which allows for a personalised tutoring session for each student, depending on their strengths and weaknesses.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor's job is to make learning fun for a student. There are many instances where a student may be discouraged from learning a specific subject due to its difficulty level. As a tutor, your job is to teach a student perseverance and resilience to keep trying that subject concept etc. Being resilient and persevering through life's obstacles will mean a student will always be ready to tackle whatever comes their way.
