What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I have not yet had the opportunity to tutor; however, I look forward to helping students engage with educational material in a positive environment and consequently reducing the stresses that come from fast-paced and overwhelming school environments. I genuinely enjoyed the subjects I took throughout school and am enthusiastic about consolidating my knowledge in a manner that helps others.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am suited to being a tutor as I am patient and compassionate, as I have recently completed high school I can fully sympathise with students who may feel overwhelmed by their studies and require extra assistance and time as school can be demanding. I value positive and open communication in life and education, and I believe asking questions is integral to understanding and overcoming weaknesses. As a tutor, I will do my best to make students comfortable and confident to create a positive atmosphere conducive to learning.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe it is of utmost importance that a tutor listens to their students in order to personalise their learning, teaching to their strengths and working on weaknesses. Increasing a student's confidence in answering questions is something I also consider to be important as it facilitates effective learning. I also believe it is important that tutors encourage independent learning through research and formulating personal study plans to set students up for success.
