What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I really enjoyed helping students reach their academic goals. Being a student myself, I completely understand having feelings of some level inadequacy in relation to studying in the past. So, helping students and seeing them improve in their performance and subsequently, I enjoy seeing their self confidence grow.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe that I explain concepts well by adapting a concept into a smaller chunk and building onto the concept so a student can see the bigger picture. Additionally, I am patient enough to try and work through a problem starting from the student’s point of view and directing them to the correct answer.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

My goal is to create a student that is self reliant and no longer requires extra help by instilling good study habits that will aid them well in their later academic years and other aspects in life. Skills like organization, task initiation, time management and focus are skills I believe that make a great learner and thus skills I hope to instill in my students.
