What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

During my years of schooling, I've always enjoyed the moment when my peers realize that the maths problem or equation is much easier than it seems after I explain it to them. Regardless of where my peers were, I always cherished how not only could I help them improve, but I could also ensure that I knew my content thoroughly. Perhaps the most 'satisfying' and rewarding aspect of tutoring is when the student develops a keen interest in the subject and you can see their improvement throughout.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My Key Strengths include - Patience (Some students may require several explanations to understand how the answer and thought process is obtained) - Adaptive (Different students have different learning methods, so I am always willing to explain concepts in multiple ways when applicable) - Amicable (I am a very welcoming and friendly individual, allowing students to feel at ease and better enjoy our lessons together)

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

- Providing help outside of class (Students may have additional questions outside the allocated class time, and I am always willing to provide additional time for students in need of help) - Regularly mark and give homework tailored to the specific student (Some students may have different goals, so I can tailor the amount of homework and pace of our lessons) - Ensure that the student understands the content (Achieved not only through homework, but asking the student questions throughout class) - Fostering a welcoming and friendly environment (Allows the student to feel more confident)
