What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
I really love and enjoy being a math tutor.
The first reason is that I love the process of teaching. I can feel the transfer of knowledge that comes from interaction every time when I teach and answer questions for students. Over time, I can clearly feel the improvement in the students' level and thinking. This makes me feel very satisfied and excellent.
I spend a lot of time and effort each year learning about maths and I am keen to share what I have learnt and also help the students to expand their interest and get them to love maths.
My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
The first point is that I am personable, patient and easy to get along with. I am very well liked at school and have friends from all over the world. I enjoy talking with people from different backgrounds and get to know them easily. It makes students feel at ease and free of pressure to learn, which makes them more productive and happy.
The second point is that I have a solid foundation in mathematics and am fluent in language communication. My knowledge and study skills can help the students to better understand mathematical concepts and the logic of thinking.
Most important things I can do for a student ๐
The first point is to care about the psychology of the students and to acknowledge their efforts and dedication in a timely manner. When encountering problems, counsellors should remain patient and attentive, guiding students to think about difficult points and broadening their ideas.
The second point is to identify the student's weaknesses and practise them by point to point. The tutor needs to develop a clear mind map (framework) of knowledge, divide the big questions into small distributed points, and target the students' weaknesses for practice.
