What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
As a child, I was obsessed with the idea of being a teacher and having my own classroom. I would create a roll call with a list of names and teach my “class†how to read, write, and do simple maths - as those were the extent of my abilities at the age of 6. As my dad is a high school teacher. I love helping students feel proud of their accomplishments, and watching them to tackle difficult problems and grow in their abilities over time. It brings me great satisfaction to watch their confidence grow and truely enjoy learning.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As my dad is a high school Mathematics teacher, I had the advantage of being taught and nurtured by someone who has a passion for teaching. From my father, I have learnt to be patient and encouraging towards my students. He often tells me “they’re trying just as hard to learn as you are to teachâ€, which allowed me to understand that I am always on the same team as my students; we’re in this together. I believe my compassion and passion for learning and teaching is my greatest strength. I know everyone has it in them to achieve their best, and I would love to be the person who supports them.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I strongly believe teaching problem solving is an extremely important which allows students to tackle each and every problem with easy. By understanding bits of information and tying it together to formulate an answer is the most effective way of learning as it means the student properly understands the fundaments of the question itself.
