What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy that feeling when a student understands the concept clearly instead of just memorising (that "ahh that makes sense!" feeling), which is neglected by many tutors that I have encountered, many of which are fast-paced to cover all the content within the span of mere weeks, whereas I like to move at a comfortable pace yet still ensuring that all content is covered.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I can explain concepts with great detail, making sure that the student has fully understood them so that they can apply them in the future. I'm also patient with my teaching and don't mind taking a little extra time to explain anything so that there aren't any gaps in their knowledge. I build a strong rapport with people that I meet so that they can speak comfortably and not hold back any seemingly 'silly' questions.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Making sure there are no gaps in a student's knowledge and being meticulous. Over the course of my high school journey, I have gone through many tutors that have neglected the purpose of being a tutor. A tutor delves into the concepts that the student has trouble with, that may have been overlooked at school, or just doesn't understand at all.
