What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I like learning new and practical things as well. Every time I help people I learn more about myself as a person and it can be quite a nice experience. What drives me to learn as a tutor is helping people. Especially those who are willing to seek help. I was also placed in a similar position, so seeing them succeed and overcome their problems put a smile on my face.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my predominant skills is problem-solving. I take quite an open approach to tasks which I believe is a crucial aspect of teaching. I can be more understanding of how people learn and play to their strengths. This was also particularly useful as I helped some of my peers understand concepts in maths that they couldn't understand.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Their intentions should only be for the betterment of the student and help them selflessly.
They should provide guidance when necessary to help students make the right decisions in life.
They should use their experience and knowledge of the topic to provide the most effective pathway in dealing with their academic problems.
They should be a role model to their students. Do actions that students should try to model.
Prioritise insight, they should focus on providing insight to help guide the students, rather than do the work for them.
