What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy sharing my strategies and techniques on how to approach and solve a problem. I enjoy helping students understand the concepts so they are able to get good grades in the subject. I had tutoring when I was in high school and I found it very helpful, so I would like to do the same for students.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe I have good communication skills, both online and in person. I have worked at a call centre and also helped patrons in person which helped me develop communication skills. I have also been actively doing maths, therefore I know straightforward techniques for solving different math problems.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing a tutor needs to know is how the student learns. Tutors can provide students with a plan on how the tutoring session is going to work, teach a concept, show techniques on how to solve the problem and provide examples to consolidate the concept. Try to make the session interesting and personalize the learning for them. Give them feedback on their working out for questions.
