What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy helping students and I want to make sure they know the topic well throughout the sessions. By tutoring them, I know they get to advance their knowledge and further their academic curiosity or they get to improve their grades. I love to empower young students' minds by tutoring them as well.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I communicate well with students. I tend to make a list of what the student needs improvement and their strengths and in doing so, I cater my tutoring style to suit their learning style. I also try to organise the lessons so I do not get to miss out on teaching an important topic.
Most important things I can do for a student π
Communication and trust. Where one may be very knowledgable about the subject, if there is no communication, then there would be no point in tutoring if the student does not understand. Trust is also important because the student needs to trust the tutor and listen to them. In this vein, the tutor must also trust the student to focus and work hard. Without trust, there is no real progress because this might lead to unpleasant lessons and misunderstandings.
