What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutoring is flexible, rewarding, and a interesting job where we as tutors can make a positive difference for young people and for the future. Seeing students having a light bulb moment when they understand the content makes it more enjoyable for the tutor as it confirms that we are doing a good job when the students are able to feel like they aren't left behind in the classroom when they don't understand the content.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Being able to tailor and personalizing the learning experience for students is very exciting because it allows the student to achieve their best and aspire them on both a personal and academic level. Some of my greatest strengths is that I'm very encouraging and patient. I lean on these qualities when I'm tutoring. My encouragement will help the students to feel engaged and motivated with the material, along side my patience allows them to move at their own learning pace comfortably not feel pressured to learn the material faster.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Being patient with the student as each student has their own pace in learning and not rushing them will allow them to understand the content they are learning better. Having more entertaining methods of teaching allows students to feel engaged and interesting like having a reward system allows students to become more interested in the material thus, it can be used for more committed behavior from the student. This method has worked well, as I have observed when teachers encouraged students to become more motivated and interested in the classroom especially in subjects like mathematics.
