What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The most enjoyable aspect of tutoring to me is being able to help students truly overcome the difficulties they face in their studies. For me having the opportunity to assist a student in a topic or concept that they struggle with and being able to help them reach a point where they are confident enough to apply it and use it on their own is a truly rewarding experience, as not only has the student been able to greatly improve their skills but they are also able to feel a sense of pride and accomplishment in overcoming a obstacle that has been holding them back.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe that my main strengths as a tutor are the strength of my mathematical and science skills, ability to effectively communicate and my passion and commitment to teaching. I am very confident in my mathematics skills having completed all 3 math at a VCE level and my knowledge in physics and chemistry is also up to a very high standard having received a high distinction after competing in the International Chemistry Quiz in 2021. I also believe that my passion to teaching allows me to effectively assist students by focusing in on their individual needs and areas of improvement.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that the most important things a tutor can do for a student is to first serve as a reliable and effective source of information that the student can use to comfortably learn the content at a pace that suits them and have the ability to ask for aid in any way they need, but to also help students develop a strong and healthy relationship with studying that allows them to remain motivated and engaged with the subjects that they are undertaking. I also believe that a tutor must tailor their lessons to a student's needs to ensure it is as effective as possible.
