What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the idea of helping others. The idea that I was able to help a student understand something that they will be able to apply in their future learnings is a very satisfying feeling for me. Guiding students to create positive outcomes in their lives is something I strive for in my current role as a student ambassador.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe I am someone who has experienced the academic struggles that a student goes through in high school. Through my first-hand experience, I can not only help students with their academic problems but also help them navigate through issues faced in their student lives, especially in the HSC years. I have also provided extensive mentoring and helped numerous students from low socioeconomic areas with finding admission into UNSW.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that a tutor must be empathetic towards their student. A tutor must understand that each student is going through a separate journey in life and explore how their life experiences may have shaped their perception of their strengths and weaknesses. By understanding these circumstances, I believe a tutor should design an environment where students are motivated to ask questions without the fear of failing or getting a question wrong.
