What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
My favorite part about tutoring is witnessing the moment when a student starts to get the material. Itβs like a light suddenly switching on. It makes me so happy to see a student understanding something that might have caused then confusion before.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
With my previous experience and training I have learned multiple ways to present material in order to make learning the most efficient it can be for a student. One way on learning is not going to be everyoneβs cup of tea, but being flexible and patient has allowed me to meet a student where they are and develop a plan that will work for them.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important thing a tutor can be for a student is a supportive guide. Being a guide allows for students to be empowered and encouraged to make their learning and understanding their own. Learning something on your own terms is way more rewarding than being told what to do. As a tutor it is my job to help navigate learning and to work as a supportive guide/ cheerleader!
