What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love the teaching experience because not only do I get to work with younger kids and students in general which is really fun and engaging but also I will revisit my own memories and relearn the subjects I may have forgotten or was lacking before, so I would also learn from this experience and solidify my communication skills.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Since I have a younger sister that I taught in my country, I believe I have good experience in building strong relationships and teaching them and reflecting on how they think and do mathematics. Since I am already in university studying an engineering course, I believe I have enough proficiency to teach younger kids.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important aspect of being a tutor is to make a student comfortable around him, by building a strong connection with them and encouraging them to be better. Listening and communicating with parents is also another key aspect of helping students since they may provide some insights into their behaviors would make it easier for tutors to work with, befriend and teach them. Learning the student's strong points and trying a flexible approach to teaching that best suits them is also important, along with minimizing students' weaknesses.
