What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Being a good tutor is not always smooth sailing, but it was a great experience nonetheless. The impact that a tutor can have on a student is huge and should not be understated. Unlike school teachers who take care of many students at the same time, each tutor just needs to focus on one student and each session is unique. The tutor is powerful enough to set a student straight on the true and good path to success and fulfillment. Other things such as flexibility, independence, and connection are also attractive.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have several intern experiences and taught many students with different learning styles and needs. My previous experience at Camberwell Grammar involved teaching Year 7 and Year 8 students mathematics where they have achieved academic success which also improved their wellbeing.
I also have strengths in teaching disadvantaged students and I have been successful and patient in understanding their needs and they have gained considerable knowledge in what I taught.
As a person, I have a bubbly personality, I am highly motivated and a good communicator.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that every student is different but special in their own way. Every student should be instilled with good values so that they can grow up to be good valuable men and women. It's the responsibility of tutors to care for their students. They should use a variety of strategies to help each student become personally invested in, and take ownership of their learning. Differentiated instruction is an established approach recommended for meeting the needs of students who are working above, at or below year level expectations, which means no one will be left behind.
