What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to see how far my students can progress and build their knowledge of content which prior was an area of struggle or completely foreign and to see their confidence grow from session to session. To share what I have learnt and teach from my experiences is very rewarding.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I see my ability to connect and relate to my students as a strength since it builds confidence and enthusiasm for the work as well as making communication more effective, so overall forming productive sessions where students feel free to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of their content. Also having recently graduated and now currently studying for a bachelor of engineering/commerce at UNSW, I have an excellent understanding of the current course and how content is assessed.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the role of the tutor is the prepare the student for assessments and future content, as having a solid base is very important, specifically in maths where future content is built upon what is previously taught. For students to feel more comfortable stepping into an exam comes from familiarising them with what to expect and how to approach different types of questions, as well as ways to prepare for exams and what to look out for.
