What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutoring builds a bond between teacher and student unlike any other. The feeling of watching the growth and improvement of a student is one that is unparallelled.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Patience - There is no shortcut to learning. Some take minutes, some take hours, and some even days, different students learn at different paces. As a tutor, being patient would allow me to facilitate a child's academic career most effectively. Empathy - Academic pressures, social pressures and worry for the future. Students are burdened with the weight of the world, and this weight only gets heavier as they progress in their academic career. As a tutor, I believe my ability to empathize with a student will allow me to truly benefit their education and their lives as a whole.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

While a tutor's contracted duty is to assist a student academically, I believe a tutor can do something far more in the process. A tutor can be the reason a student develops a greater sense of purpose at school. A tutor can be the reason a student falls in love with a subject and chooses to pursue it for the rest of their life. All in all, a tutor is more than just someone that comes in for an hour to teach. While I will ensure that my student grows academically, I know not to ignore other facets of tutoring that may mean more in the long run.
