What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I find joy in being able to help people feel more confident about their skills and knowledge learnt in school. I also love the relationship between tutor and tutee as sessions progress and I get to understand whats the optimal learning strategy for them.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I struggled academically from year 6-10 so I can easily empathise with how students are feeling when they cant grasp a concept quite as easily as their peers. I'm patient in explaining concepts and will try different methods so as to help them. I think I also go the extra mile to help them look forward to each session and try to spark an interest in the subject and its application.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing a tutor can do is to be understanding. Different people go at different paces and ultimately, a fixed teaching template cannot be applied to every single student. Being a tutor would involve you getting to know the student as a person and then finding a strategy that would keep them interested and involved in every lesson.
