What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutoring and teaching in general is a very fulfilling job. It is very satisfying to see the people I teach excel and grasp concepts they did niot initially understand

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am able to effectively explain mathematical concepts to students. I am able to quickly identify my studnets' weaknesses and turn them into strengths through strong principles, problem solving skills and effective exam technique. I am highly adaptable in my teaching methodology and I strive to engage my students to a high degree.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor must be able to communicate effectively with a student in order for the student to grasp complex mathematical concepts. Since I was also a student sitting the HSC, I am able to put myself in the student's shoes and thus effectively tackle anything limiting their understanding. In addition, a tutor must be able to identify the student's weaknesses. As a tutor, we have limited time so we must spend as much as we can working on the student's weaknesses rather than reinforcing strengths. However, a tutor must act as a guide for the student instead of spoon-feeding answers.
