What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy listening to my students and learning what best helps them to achieve and grow. Seeing the way kids get excited after finally understanding a difficult concept is a joy and I love being one of the people that help them along the way.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am an understanding person and have experience tutoring many different people who each have different ways of studying. I am sociable and a good communicator, which makes teaching and instructing students easier. I am flexible with my schedule and am able to facilitate any issues the student may have when learning. My ability to manage time also means that I can balance my work commitments and personal commitments.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The 3 most important things a tutor can do for a student are: encourage a love of learning; understand the student's perspective when teaching; be capable to change the explanation in order to allow the student to understand the content.
It's difficult for students to learn sometimes and I acknowledge that. It is my job as a tutor to encourage them to seek out answers for themselves, and when they cannot find the answer, I must be there to guide them to the correct answer. Understanding the student means supporting them through school work as well as any additional learning they may desire.

The student should practice some more in his spare time. Remembering the formulas without need to refer to notes would be a welcome improvement before next lesson (but we'll revisit it if necessary). There is a lack of understanding of quadratic formulas so utilising factorisation and expansion in graphing will be the next lesson.
