What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Helping students have support systems that I myself did not have in my youth. I like when students get that one moment when trying to understand a topic, that moment from whereon they can progress to the next step of the sum, chapter or subject. Helping reinforce values their parents are wanting to instill in them, while at the same time, making sure that they have their basics set in stone, is one pivotal reason I choose to become a tutor, because my basics weren't the best and that was one main reason why I struggled with my subjects when I was younger
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I feel like I can truly help students, in areas I now know how to endure. I am friendly, slightly playful, and more like a friend than a tutor. That may not be the best tactic to tutor someone, but firm boundaries can be set, and with the correct students, they will excel under a little bit of freedom.
Having just been through the stage these students are going through, make me a solid bridging helper, to make sure they're moving in the right direction
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important a tutor can do for a student is finding out what is the best way that one particular students enjoys to learn, and taking advantage of that. Quite a few people can teach, but, not that many tutors form that sense of a bond with their students, and is the reason for their confidence in a subject.
