What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
It is the feeling of happiness and satisfaction when students ask you questions. That is when you realise that students are really into the subjects and they would love to understand and broaden their knowledge.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I believe that patient and listening are the key roles in my teaching. Since I have been through time as a student recently, I sympathy with the feeling of afraid of asking the questions multiple times. It was not that I did not try to understand. I did try my best to learn it; however, human are not perfect. Since my head had been overloaded with other subject knowledge, it make my learning to become slower to process. However, when I do understand the root of the problem, I will never forget how to solve. Hence, I believe my students can experience similar things to me.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I love answering students' questions. That is when I can engage and inspire young students in adapting new technology and knowledge. The tutor is just able to show the tools and methods for students to solves the problem. Once they are full equiped, they are ready to solve the similar problem without guiding required. The tutors need to know what a student is missing, and help them to fill in; instead of helping solving questions to questions without any fundamental knowledge.
