What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The aspect of tutoring I enjoy most is simply being able to pass on the knowledge that I've learnt through my personal experiences and bestow it onto another person for their value. In addition, it's extremely rewarding to go on a journey with your student and I'd like to not only see them progress academically but also as a person.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe resilience and flexibility are my strongest traits as a tutor. I think its important to understand that younger students won't be as experienced and capable as the tutor, hence it is easy to overlook this and be impatient with their progression. Thus, I'm always happy to stay with students to heavily consolidate an issue they may be having so they can fully understand a problem's concept and its method without me simply handing them the answer. Therefore, I will also be flexible in a student's learning progression and adapt to their specific obstacles to build them up from there.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to help them grow not only academically, but also on a personal level. Through a tutor's tailored learning, you can provide the student a versatile and personalized teaching method to connect with the student and provide them with immediate feedback. However, through the academic journey of a student, I believe the most prominent thing a tutor can provide is their influence on a student's mindset. An example of this could be a shift in a students mindset by making them more motivated, manage time more efficiently, and also be confident.
