What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The connections I form with students and even with peers within the tutoring industry are powerful and important. I found a lot of enjoyment in teaching my students on not just how to survive school academically, but also socially and mentally. It was really fulfilling to give back value to my students. Tutoring is a job where I decide the direction of my role. . You are thrown out into the student’s world, and you learn to adapt on the fly. This independence really does help develop problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

1) Good Listener: As a tutor I have good listening skills so that I better understand student misconceptions and errors. 2) Enthusiastic: As a tutor I display a love for the subject as if i do not show love for the subject I am tutoring, how I can expect the student to enjoy it.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

One of the most essential ingredients is chemistry. A good tutor will take the time to connect meaningfully with the student and their families. They will be caring and compassionate, but also professional and organized. Having a good rapport with the student will move a tutor from good to great.
