What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I have a genuine interest in the subjects that I would like to teach and I enjoy sharing my knowledge in it to help others. Teaching these subjects reignites my passion for them and brings a sense of contentment. Helping students develop a liking for the subject and seeing them gain confidence in it would be a satisfactory enough reward for me, because my goal is to help them see the joy in studying a subject despite its challenges.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I'm passionate about working with youth and helping them enhance their individual skills. I recognise and acknowledge the differences among students and I am capable of adapting to each student and catering to their needs. I believe I am able to build a genuine relationship with my students and create a non-judgemental, comfortable atmosphere which I think forms the foundation needed for progress. I have experienced how stressful and difficult school can be for myself and from this, I have gained time management and organization skills, as well as efficient test prep and note taking skills that I am eager to share with my students.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

My English teachers in my final years of school showed me that putting trust in students and adapting to their individual needs is one of the best ways to help them improve. It is crucial to help the students gain true confidence in their subjects through this way, as it can act as a source of motivation and a reason to keep persisting. I also think that empathy and patience are needed to understand different students to help them excel. Although grades are important, helping students focus on the process instead of the result and showing them the importance of consistency is needed for true success.
